Tesoro XP Employee Alerts – SMS Terms of Service

By using a Tesoro XP company-owned phone number enrolled in Tesoro XP Employee Alerts, you agree to receive informational messages (IT and system alerts, security alerts, schedule changes and office closure notices) from Tesoro XP, Inc. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. For help, reply HELP or call us at 512-861-1514. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

  1. Program. Tesoro XP Employee Alerts (the "Program") is an internal text message program run by Tesoro XP, Inc. It sends work-related messages to employees, such as IT and system alerts, security alerts, schedule changes and office closure notices. It does not send marketing messages.
  2. Eligibility. Only current Tesoro XP employees take part. Messages go only to company-owned mobile devices and company-provisioned VoIP numbers, including Zoom Phone numbers. We never send Program messages to personal phones.
  3. Enrollment. When IT assigns a company-owned device or Zoom Phone number, the employee may opt in by checking the consent box and signing the Tesoro XP Employee Alerts SMS Enrollment & Consent Form. Consent is not a condition of employment. IT then adds the number and sends an enrollment message with these terms, the privacy policy and STOP/HELP instructions. The number is removed when it is reassigned or the employee leaves.
  4. Message frequency. Message frequency varies with business needs, typically up to 10 messages per week.
  5. Costs. Message and data rates may apply. Tesoro XP pays for service on company-owned lines, and employees are not charged.
  6. Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving messages at that number. You will receive one message confirming the opt-out. Reply START to rejoin.
  7. Help. Reply HELP for help, or call support at 512-861-1514.
  8. Delivery. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Tesoro XP does not guarantee delivery and may also use other channels, such as email, for important notices.
  9. Privacy. Our SMS Privacy Policy explains how we handle Program information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
  10. Changes. We may change or end the Program or these terms. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
